Hi Brett.
I’m very grateful for your honest, straight talk video. IMHO it’s a bit long, but you bring up some really helpful points that have encouraged me- I’m in the analysis paralysis stage like you mention, wioth freebie overload on my hard disc!!!
I’m actually a freelance photographer, but keen too on genuine IM, where the customer wins, not the big fat seller!
I shall sign up and hope to learn and share what I have learnt too with the community you are trying to build.
Thumbs up and thanks again!

Hey man!
Thanks so much for your blueprint and compass!
I’ve been online since 2001 and had some nice success until I suddenly went broke an year ago. Since then I’ve been struggling to get back.
I mean – I’m no newbie, I know how the game works. But I did realize that when I was newbie even though I didn’t know anything I was taking action. Now that I knew “everything” I was just lost in my thoughts and ideas and was literally paralyzed – I wasn’t doing anything. Eventually I started acting but I was all over the place. Now thanks to your simple outline and the compass I am able to see where my mistake has been and am focusing on just ONE thing until I reach enough milestones there to feel confident enough to pursue other ventures.
Thanks and I really hope you read this and we can continue to keep in touch and maybe build a relationship!
All the best to you!

Thanks Brett,
A very interesting and relevant discussion of the pitfalls of starting out an internet business and of the mindset required to make a success of it.
Well done!

Thanks Brett
That was good value,
I know it is stuff that most of use already know or have heard somewhere, or something similar
But in this information overloaded society we live in -
It is great to be reminded and put back on track again
Yours sincerely

Brett,
Great information. I can especially relate to your example of trying to learn from an expert. I’ve been on both sides of the table. For instance, when I’m explaining what to me is an easy process for a direct marketing campaign, I sometimes see the blank stare, or hear the basic questions that tell me the person has no idea what to do with what I’m explaining. The same thing happens to me when someone starts explaining some Internet processes and it sounds good, but I have no idea how to make it happen.
Keep up the good work!

Brett,
You are, without reservation, truly one of a kind. In all my years searching I have never come across anyone who talks so directly and is so willing to tell it like it is.
Your point about the ‘gurus’ losing touch with rock-bottom is bang-on, it’s not their fault, it’s a very human trait, but I’m glad you have kept it at bay thus far!
Thanks man, keep this going – it’s a major world full of fresh air

Hello Guru, what entice you to post an article. This article was extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Thursday.

Awesome, Brett. And besides: while the main point is the learning curve, that the experts that have it all behind them are not able to explain in hindsight how they did it, those who fail EQUALLY are rarely able to voice coherently why they failed (because, once you could, you’d weed out the errors, become successful and then again you’re in the first category not able to explain how you pulled it off. Nice cycle and high commendations to you for trying to help people break it. I think you should though try and hold a bait out for potential affiliates. Thanks again and kind regards
Franz
